Welcome Dinner and Drinks: Thursday, September 12
When and where?

6pm - 9:30pm
We've rented the outside patio at a beautiful harbor-side restaurant called S'Amarador in the Ciutadella.

What to expect

Come hungry! We’ll be hosting a Spanish tapas style welcome dinner and drinks for those arriving on Thursday or earlier in the week. It’ll be a fun, casual event within walking distance of everybody staying in the Ciutadella. If you have children, feel free to bring them with you!

What to wear

Casual - we want everybody to be comfortable.

Indian Sangeet: Friday, September 13
When and where?

6:30pm at Palacio Torresaura in the Ciutadella.

What to expect

An Indian sangeet is a pre-wedding event full of music, dances, colorful outfits and playful traditions led by the families and friends of the couple. It’s lighthearted and less formal than a traditional Indian marriage ceremony, but nevertheless showcases many of the most important rituals that underpin the matrimonial culture of India. There will be a lot of traditional Indian food served so come hungry! If you have children please feel free to bring them to the event. If you'd prefer, your hotel or our wedding planner can help arrange for a babysitter, please email us if you want help with this!

What to wear

We encourage everyone to dress in traditional Indian wedding attire! For men, this means a colorful “kurta” (a tunic) with matching pants (the full outfit is known as a “kurta pajama”), or a “sherwani” for those wanting to wear something dressier. For women, this means an Indian suit, a “lehenga”, or a saree (all are fine!). Feel free to be as elaborate or as simple with these outfits as you like. If you’re unable to buy Indian clothing, which we understand, then we suggest women wear your brightest, floor length dress and the men wear their brightest formal outfit.

Most major cities in the US have Indian clothing stores, we recommend looking up locations via Yelp and visiting a store to get the full experience of picking out the clothes in person! E-mail us for recommendations.

Special note for the Women: Please leave your high heels at home! The streets in Menorca are old and the venue for the sangeet has cobblestones. We recommend flats, wedges, or block heels. Also, the bride will be wearing a hot pink lehenga, we suggest you avoid this color and red (traditional Indian bridal color) for your outfits :)

Wedding Day: Saturday, September 14
When and where?

Ceremony begins at 6:30pm at Son Felip (25 minutes from the Ciutadella). We strongly suggest taking the buses to the reception. However, if you need to drive to the venue here is a dropped pin for the location.

What to expect

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outdoors at the same venue. We will provide plenty of refreshments to keep people cool and plan on dancing until the sun comes up! We ask that there are no children at the ceremony and reception. If you have an infant we can help arrange a babysitter to watch them on-site at the wedding venue so you're able to check on them often :) Please email us to help arrange a babysitter.

What to wear

Cocktail attire. Women- please wear flats, block heels, or wedges because the wedding ceremony and reception will require you to walk in grass/soft ground.

Transportation

Buses will be picking up from a convenient, dedicated spot in the Ciutadella near the hotels. The same buses will be leaving every 30 minutes from 11pm - 3:30am to take guests back to the Ciutadella. We highly recommend you take the bus with everyone but we are happy to provide driving directions if you'd like to drive yourself.

Farewell brunch: Sunday, September 15
When and where?

11:00am - 1:00pm at the Hotel Can Faustino

What to expect

A casual brunch at the hotel where the bride and groom will be staying the night of the wedding. Please feel free to pop in for a coffee and food before heading to the airport. If you'll be on the island for another day we'll be going to a local beach in the afternoon to relax and sleep off the night before. Children are welcome at this event!

What to wear

Casual! Come in t-shirt and shorts, dress from the night before, whatever you want!
